UPDATE: iOS Version 2.0

What’s New in Version 2.0

– The entire app has been given a complete facelift for iOS7 :). Everything should look fresh, slick and new.
– We’ve added a new customizable profile banner for more personalization options.
– We’ve added a ‘quick summary’ bar to the profile page for quick stats about how many Diary Entries, Hair Stats, Photos & Products you have entered.
– People reported that it wasn’t too clear how to delete data from the app so we’ve made that clearer by adding an ‘Edit’ or explicit ‘Delete’ button where appropriate to toggle deletion options on the page.
– The Growth Tracker graph has been improved to allow you to toggle all graph length labels on/off when you tap near any graph point.

We’ve had to put the promised backup feature on hold to focus on this iOS7 specific makeover. But that’s still coming very soon :).

As always please don’t hesitate to send feedback and/or bug reports. We’l fix any bugs you report and we take all feedback we get (positive or negative) on board.

Please also give us a positive review in the app store if you enjoy using the app πŸ™‚iOS Version 2.0

    Good Morning,

Can you please tell me how I can save all my pics. I am upgrading my phone soon and would like to be proactive in saving all my current pics.

    Thank you

    1. Hi Pauline,

The latest iOS version (2.1) of the Hair Journal app now has a backup feature that allows you to backup all your data (including your pictures) so that you can restore your data to another iOS device :). The backup button can be selected from the ‘Profile’ page of the app. After clicking the backup button, please follow the on-screen instructions to backup your data. To restore your data to a new device, please press the same button and follow the on-screen instructions. Hope you find this useful but if you have any questions please feel free to contact us and we will be more than happy to help :).

      Have a great week!

I can’t open the app. I tap on it, I see the splash page, and then it crashes.
    – I have an iPhone 4S
    – Running iOS 6
    – I haven’t used the app in a while but always download updates so I have the latest version of the app

    1. Hi Denise πŸ™‚

We apologise for the issues you’ve been having when trying to launch the app. We have investigated this and have discovered the problem. It seems to affect some iOS 6 users. We will be releasing an update in a few days to fix the bug. Please bear with us πŸ™‚ thank you and have a good day!
